Black hole near Neptune could change Earth’s orbit

The black hole, which is located not far from Neptune, can cause dire consequences for humanity: it can change the orbit of our planet.

Scientists have been studying black holes for a long time and trying to learn something new about these objects. There is also a supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

At the same time, an object that is located near Neptune is significantly different from the black hole that is located in the center of the galaxy.

This was told by an astrophysicist Fabio Pakuchchi. Regardless of the fact that the objects are different, they both pose certain risks to our planet.

It is worth noting that there are quite a few different types of black holes, which can differ significantly in parameters, but stellar black holes are considered the most dangerous.

The specialist added that stellar black holes, which have a huge mass, despite their small size, can affect planets even at great distances. For this, the planet does not even need to collide with the specified object for a real catastrophe to occur.

If such a black hole passed near Neptune, it will lead to “dire results” for life on Earth by “considerably modifying” its orbit, an astrophysicist said.
