A former Air Force officer and Pentagon whistleblower has exposed the US government’s secret involvement in recovering and studying UFOs, and claimed that the Vatican was aware of the existence of non-human intelligences, reports dailymail.co.uk.
David Grusch, 36, who worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office, said he was part of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, a special unit set up to investigate UFOs.
He said that the US has been retrieving and examining crashed UFOs for decades, and that the first one was recovered in Italy in 1933 with the help of the Pope.
According to Grusch, the UFO was partially intact and was kept by Mussolini’s fascist regime until the end of World War II, when Pope Pius XII informed the Americans about it through a secret channel.
“1933 was the first recovery in Europe, in Magenta, Italy,” he told News Nation.
“They recovered a partially intact vehicle, and the Italian government moved it to a secure airbase in Italy until around 1944-1945.
“The Pope back-channelled that, and told the Americans what the Italians had and we ended up scooping it.”
He said the US then retrieved the UFO from a secure airbase in Italy and brought it back to America for further analysis.
Grusch said that this was not the only case of US-Vatican collaboration on UFO matters, and that the Catholic Church was aware of the presence of non-human intelligences on Earth.
Grusch’s claims are based on his personal experience and access to classified documents and witnesses. He said he decided to speak out because he believes the public has a right to know the truth about UFOs and their implications for humanity.
He also said he hopes his disclosure will encourage more whistleblowers to come forward and share their knowledge. Grusch said he is willing to testify under oath before Congress or any other official inquiry about his allegations.
