A newly surfaced video from Beijing posted on Chinese social media by Tang Xiao, appears to show an unusual cylindrical object hovering high above the city’s skyline, reports www.coasttocoastam.com.
Recorded from a moving vehicle, the footage provides a close-up view of the object, which displays intermittent illumination—either from lights on the object itself or from the reflection of sunlight on its surface.

Subscribe to the NewsletterThe lack of surrounding reference points in the video, a result of Xiao’s close-in filming, makes it challenging to estimate the size and distance of the object.
Speculation surrounding the mysterious sighting has already led to numerous theories, with some interpreting the object as evidence of advanced non-human intelligence technology, while others suggest a more mundane explanation, such as reflection in a window or advertising balloon.
To me this object looks more like a reflection.
It should also be taken into account that China is a country with fairly strict censorship. It is quite possible that not all people who filmed the object post the video online. Therefore, it is difficult to judge whether all the videos show the same object or they are different.
The video’s release comes amid heightened global interest in UFOs, now referred to as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Recently, official UAP hearings in the United States have pushed the topic of unexplained aerial encounters into the mainstream.
U.S. government officials have acknowledged that many sightings of unusual objects remain unexplained, prompting calls for increased transparency and rigorous investigation into the phenomenon.
The upcoming UAP hearing will provide a significant platform for several prominent witnesses to share and elaborate on their personal experiences in detail.
