British scientists from the University of Southampton decided to find out what happens to the human mind after death.
To do this, they interviewed about 2,000 people who had experienced clinical death. The results of this study of specialists were very surprised.
It turned out that 40% of the respondents remember everything that happened to them at the time of temporary cardiac arrest.
Of these, 140 people spoke in detail about all the resuscitation actions of doctors. People who did not go to doctors, but woke up on their own, also said that they remember everything.
Since clinical death lasts 2-3 minutes, scientists have come to the conclusion that 2-3 minutes after death, human consciousness continues to live.
Experts believe that even after that, consciousness does not die, but so far they cannot find confirmation of this.
