Max Spiers

Official report: conspiracy theorist ‘killed by drug overdose’

Max SpiersIn 2016, Father-of-two Max Spiers was found dead after attending a conference in Poland. The 39-year-old was certainly no stranger to the unexplained who had long expressed a keen interest in a wide range of topics relating to UFOs, metaphysical abilities and theories of conspiracy.

He also believed that he had been changed into a “supersoldier” as a child.

He went to Poland in April 2016 to speak at a conference. He met and stayed with a friend, Monika Duval, who was the last person to see him alive while he was there.

She found him dead on his couch on July 16 with a’ black liquid’ coming from his mouth.

While conspiracy theorists were keen to speculate that he was killed because of what he knew, a recent inquiry revealed that he most likely received an accidental overdose of anxiety drugs. According to Duval, during his vacation in Cyprus, Spiers had bought up to ten boxes and swallowed several tablets on the day of his death. According to the Polish Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO), Spiers had died because of ” natural causes ” and the ” participation of other persons ” had been excluded. The case gained prominence two years ago following his mother’s comments.

“In the world of conspiracy theorists, he made a name for himself and was invited to speak at a conference in Poland in July,” she said.

“He stayed with a woman he hadn’t known for a long time and she told me how she found him dead on the sofa. ” ” But I think Max was digging some dark spots and I’m afraid someone wanted him dead.”

Do you believe it was just an accident?
