Ramiro Navarro , a resident of the Mexican state of Coahuila, arrived in June 2023 in the Bilbao desert region (Bilbao dunes), which is located in the same state. As a memento, he took a selfie there.
And only recently, when he was looking at this photo, he suddenly noticed a strange flying object in the distance, hovering low above the dunes. This object looks like a typical “flying saucer” or the so-called saucer-shaped UFO.
Navarro shared the picture on social networks and joked: “They saw me there, but they didn’t take me with them.”
Many local residents were noted in the comments to the photo, one of whom wrote that he knows those who live on the other side of the “dam”, and that they have seen similar UFOs more than once.
Another wrote that he himself saw “strange things” in the same area, and specified that it was near the city of Cuatro Cienegas de Carranza.
Navarro himself claims that at the time of the selfie, he did not see or hear anything unusual in the desert.
Mexico is a country that has a long history of UFO sightings and encounters. One possible reason why Mexico is a hotspot for UFOs is its geographical location. Mexico is situated between two oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic, and has a diverse terrain that ranges from mountains and volcanoes to deserts and jungles.
This could provide a variety of natural and artificial landmarks for UFOs to navigate or hide. Moreover, Mexico is close to the United States, which is often considered a major player in the UFO field, both as a source of sightings and as a potential cover-up agent.
