Comedian and television personality Howie Mandel recently shared a video (see below) capturing mysterious luminous orbs at 45,000 feet over Texas. The footage, recorded from inside an aircraft cockpit, has left professional pilots searching for answers.
The video shows what appear to be bright, spherical objects exhibiting behavior that defies conventional explanation. The orbs materialize suddenly, hover without visible propulsion systems, and then vanish as quickly as they appear.

These are seasoned professionals with thousands of flight hours, intimately familiar with the appearance of aircraft, weather phenomena, and celestial bodies at high altitudes. Their confusion suggests they were witnessing something entirely outside their experience.
The objects did not appear to register on the aircraft’s radar systems. If they had, the pilots would likely have been alerted to their presence before spotting them visually. This absence of radar detection raises questions about the nature of the objects and their potential capabilities.
The characteristics of these UAPs—luminous orbs appearing in groups, demonstrating rapid movement, and exhibiting apparent cloaking abilities—align with numerous other reports from around the world. Witnesses have described similar objects in various colors, including white, orange, and amber.
Several conventional explanations for the mysterious objects can be ruled out. Stars, for instance, do not rapidly appear, disappear, or change positions in the way these objects did.
Similarly, the objects lack the navigation lights, visible structures, or any signs of propulsion that would suggest they are conventional aircraft.
Weather balloons have also been dismissed as an explanation, as they do not suddenly manifest or vanish, especially at 45,000 feet, where wind patterns are predictable and would not account for such behavior.
Additionally, commercial drones are incapable of operating at such extreme altitudes, and military drones would likely be known to both pilots and air traffic control, making them an unlikely explanation as well.
This leaves the question: what could these objects be? One possibility is that the objects represent advanced technology from classified programs, potentially developed by government or private entities.
Another theory suggests they could be natural atmospheric phenomena that science has yet to understand or explain. Some have even speculated that these UAPs might be evidence of non-human technology, possibly of extraterrestrial or other unknown origin.
Mandel’s video stands out as particularly significant for several reasons. First, the credibility of a well-known public figure like Mandel as the primary witness adds weight to the footage.
