A student from North Carolina recently found out that an uninvited guest had moved to her apartment. The woman, who was only identified as Maddie, began to believe that her apartment was haunted after hearing mysterious noises, finding that some of her clothes were missing and even discovered a strange handprint on the wall of her bathroom on one occasion.
It wasn’t until she decided to investigate a strange sound from her closet earlier this month. And then she discovered to her horror that a complete stranger had actually lived there.

“I open the door and he’s in there, wearing all of my clothes.”
The stranger turned out to be Andrew Clyde Swofford, 30-year-old – a man she had never met. Thankfully he left without any trouble, but how he got there is still unclear. No wonder Maddie doesn’t want to stay in the apartment anymore.
“I can’t stay here. My closet, it stinks,” she said. “I’m just ready to leave.”
This is Andrew Swofford. A UNCG junior got home on Saturday, to find him in her closet, wearing her clothes. @myfox8 pic.twitter.com/n4PFMhtW2b
