Feng Shui: The Art of Attracting Money And Good Energy

Feng ShuiFeng Shui is the ancient Chinese art & science of living in the very best conditions possible. Studies revealed that the words you listen to, the people you surround yourself with and the space around you does wonders for your peace of mind and overall well being.

The following guidelines will help you create a more harmonious environment that both invigorates and supports you and the people around you.

How Does It Work?

A concept commonly used is the idea of a “power” area. In Feng Shui there are 9 power areas inside each room and one of them is the “power position”.

You would want to direct as much energy into the power areas as possible using the best feng shui decorating techniques.

Activate Your Power Spots

The key is to select objects and colors that designate the area in your life you want to improve. Often the best results come from using an object you already have and move it into a power area.

Here are some examples of element enhancers.

Wood element: Pottery, plants, living flowers, lucky bamboo.

Earth: Crystals, faceted crystal balls, pottery.

Fire: Candles, fireplaces, lamps, wood to fuel fire.

Water: Water fountains, aquariums, waterscapes, paintings, models of boats.

Metal: Coins, brass or copper trays, statues.

Attract More Money Using Feng Shui

The area connected to your financial prosperity and abundance is the Southeast area of your home/office. One of the best ways to attract Wealth is to place a water fountain into your Prosperity area.

Another wealth “trigger” is Pachira, the original Chinese plant also called the Money Tree. The leaves represent the five Feng Shui elements (wood, water, fire, metal, and earth) which make it an ideal living example of harmony and balance for the five elements.

Also, you can place golden objects in your Feng Shui wealth zone, including coins to help money flow easily into your life. You can also choose something that is or seems expensive and luxurious and place it in the wealth area as well.

Another great choice is a fish tank. Include goldfish into your tank, as the Chinese words for the goldfish are the same with the two words meaning “Gold and Abundance”.

Feng Shui Bedroom Facts & Colors

The best position for your bed is the side of the room diagonally farthest from the door. Also, sleeping in line with the door puts you against too much Chi, which can contribute to stress and irritability. Another tip is to never keep your working desk or computer in your bedroom. That’s because the two types of energy (work and sleep) are opposite to each other and are incompatible.

The bedroom is usually used for resting so it is considered Yin (quiet) energy. Try to use yin colors such as pastel shades and avoid anything too bright and aggressive. The same goes for your bed covers and furniture. You can spice it up a little bit by adding a touch of red – the color of love and desire – such as a red pillow or a bright red candle.

Declutter and make space in your bedroom especially if you are looking for a new relationship. Create mental and emotional space so as to enjoy the perfect atmosphere and increased energy.

Now, you’re on your way to creating an environment that feels quintessentially you. Keeping your home fresh will help you to stay relaxed and focused on your purpose in life with joy and ease.
